Just wanted to share this weeks events. So here it is altogether. Last Saturday I went to the Buddy Walk in River Heights with my next door neighbor and new friend Dixie Conger. We both have granddaughters with Down Syndrome. They had Star War guys there and we meet lots of nice people. We sat with Matt Hillyard and his parents. This sweet guy has a USU building named after him. His is 33 years old. His dad is senator Lyle Hillyard. There were many signs along the walk about Down Syndrome.
I also went on a little get away by myself to a Utah Association of Realors convention and training in Midway on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I got to tend Macy and Andrew on the way for a little while. Macy loves to learn new tricks and it didn’t take long to teach her something new I was so proud of her. She is such a little sweetheart. I stayed at the Zermatt Resort when I got to Midway. I didn’t miss Conservice for a minute. It was a great mini vacation for me. There were some great classes and motivational keynote speaker. It was fun to meet other realtors from around the state. I wish I could stay as motivated as they made you feel there. I got lots of good junk at the trade show, spent some time in Park City and drove home through Provo Canyon. I went past our old house in South Jordan, Reams and Jordan Valley Hospital where I used to work, on the way home. Kind of makes me sad to see how much things have changed. There is way to much traffic there for me. It makes me appreciate living in Happy Valley.
Today Dixie had a garage sale to raise money for Down Syndrome to create a Christmas tree for this big event that they have in Las Vegas for Down Syndrome. If you go to this website you can see more about it glitzyglassstars.blogspot.com Dixie has two daughters who are using the money to donate a tree which they will decorate. The garage sale was very well attended and there were lots of really nice things sold. It would pour rain then the sun would come out over and over all morning. It was interesting weather. But lots of fun. The Congers are such a cute family. Everyone worked together for this cause. It was fun to be a part of it with them.

Beautiful scenery in Midway and at Sundance. Looked like a great week.
Wow, its great that so many people support the Downs Syndrome Organization. We are excited to do more, we just got a tread mill donated by Icon for a track star (Our theme is Vincint Van Gough "Stary Night")! Any suggestions email us glitzyglassstars@gmail.com.
I really love what you have done! We are excited to get going. Man, I wish we could have star-track people walking around our Christmas Tree, that would be cool (any volunteers ha ha), thanx for all your hard work, Jen
